个人简介

郑永年教授现任香港中文大学(深圳)校长讲座教授,人文社科学院代行院长,全球与当代中国高等研究院院长。

先后获中国北京大学法学学士(1985)、法学硕士(1988)、美国普林斯顿大学政治学硕士(1992)、博士(1995)。1995-1997在美国哈佛大学进行博士后研究。

历任中国北京大学政治与行政管理系助教、讲师,新加坡国立大学东亚研究所研究员、资深研究员,英国诺丁汉大学中国政策研究所教授和研究主任、新加坡国立大学东亚研究所所长。先后任美国社会科学研究会/麦克阿瑟基金会(Social Science Research Council-MacArthur Foundation)(1995-1997)和美国麦克阿瑟基金会(John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation) (2003-2005)研究基金研究员。

罗特里奇出版社(Routledge)《中国政策丛书》(China Policy Series)主编,世界科技书局(World Scientific)《当代中国研究丛书》(Series on Contemporary China)共同主编,《国际中国研究杂志》(China: An International Journal)和共同创始主编。

先后出版专著数十部,其中,英文著作8部。英文著作包括《制内市场:中国的治理政治经济学》(Market in State: The Political Economy of Domination in China)(剑桥大学出版社,2019)、《技术赋权:中国的互联网、国家与社会》(Technological Empowerment: The Internet, State and Society in China)(斯坦福大学出版社,2007); 《中国的事实联邦主义:改革与中央地方关系的动力》(De Facto Federalism in China: Reforms and Dynamics of Central-Local Relations)(世界科技书局,2007);《全球化与中国国家转型》(Globalization and State Transformation in China)(剑桥大学出版社,2004)和《在中国发现中国民族主义:现代化、认同及其国际关系》(Discovering Chinese Nationalism in China)(剑桥大学出版社,1999)等。 主编学术著作数十部,主要包括《改革中的中国共产党》(The Chinese Communist Party In Reform)、《中国和新世界秩序》(China and the New International Order)、《中国的开放社会》(China’s Opening Society)和《中国和国际关系:华人观点与王赓武的贡献》(China and International Relations: The Chinese View and the Contribution of Wang Gungwu)等。先后在国际学术刊物上发表学术论文数十篇,如在《比较政治研究》(Comparative Political Studies)、《政治科学季刊》(Political Science Quarterly)和《第三世界季刊》(Third World Quarterly)等期刊上。
